A Safe Epigenetic Environment
Epigenetic literally means ‘above genetics’. Epigenetic research explores how outside, or environmental influences, such as stress and nutrition, can alter the manner in which cells behave, or express themselves. An embryologist, for example, will take great care to ensure the environment in which an embryo is stored and monitored is appropriate - considering vital aspects such as vitro culture, nutrition, light, temperature and oxygen tension to help safeguard continuing normal development.
The Hospitable Womb
The hospitable womb concept is grounded in exactly the same principle. Acknowledging that environmental factors within the woman (hormone balance, uterus, endometrium) must be appropriate in order for implantation to occur, and for the developing embryo to thrive.
Sub-Fertility and IVF support sessions are a combination of counselling, stress management, reflexology, and ear acupuncture (optional).
