Life can be challenging, and sometimes we need support to navigate through difficult times.
I'm Nichola Gregory, a Durham based fully qualified & experienced integrative counsellor, hypnotherapist and CAM (complementary and alternative medicine) therapist. I work as both a stand alone psychological counsellor and as a mind-body therapist, often combining interventions depending on the needs of the client.
I offer clients a safe, confidential, relaxed and supportive space, as well as a range of mental health and wellness services; including one-to-one counselling/talking therapy, reflexology and ear acupuncture.
My private practice is located in the Gilesgate Moor area of Durham (DH1) and work from a small, dedicated therapy space in my home. Parking is freely available.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (378293) and adhere to their professional and ethical code of conduct.
My holistic areas of expertise include working with all forms of health anxiety, stress management, and stress related health conditions (including digestive, endocrine, auto-immune, sensory) and sub-fertility and IVF support.
From a purely talking therapy/counselling perspective I work with all forms of anxiety, panic attacks, anger, low self esteem, attachment disorders, relationship difficulties, loss and grief, and low motivation and mood.
I also provide a relaxation based well-being service (Immersive Wellness) to schools and business in the North East.

Our pop-up Immersive Wellness sensory space blends a range of visual, auditory and tactile stimuli to help engage senses, develop somatic awareness and to promote relaxation.
A blend of relaxing sound bath with a soothing visual environment, our space offers the ideal setting for staff (and student) well-being focused events.
Our immersive sensory experience encourages participants to relax and activate their default brain network (or resting brain state) - a neurological state quite opposite to the hyper-vigilant, or stressed brain. Regular activation of the resting brain state, when accompanied by a purposeful calming of the sympathetic nervous system, is crucial in helping to manage ongoing stress, and therefore in ensuring good levels of emotional and physical well-being.
